Meet Susan Strayer.

Susan is an amazing outdoor woman.

She’s a mom, a writer, a traveler, a snowboarder, a reader and so much more.

I’ve never met Susan in person but she is one woman who I can’t wait to meet. I enjoyed my conversation with Susan so much that she’ll actually be back on the show later this summer interviewing me!

But today we talk about National Park To Park Highway tour and an epic 7 1/2 week adventure she took with her family last summer.

While you’re listening you can check out Susan’s adventures here:

Enjoy the show!

  • Check out Susan’s Book Club & Monthly Outdoor Challenge. I’m joining in on the Monthly Outdoor Challenge and so far it’s been a great reminder to get out there and have fun.

Today’s show is sponsored by Audible. If I’m not listening to a podcast, I’m listening to an audiobook.

I devour audiobooks while I drive my car to and from interesting hiking destinations, clean my house, fix dinner, do the dishes, fold laundry and workout. There are so many good books that I want to read and I feel a lot more productive when I can multi-task by listening as I work.

Right now we are offering a free 30-day trial to Audible + a free audiobook download just by clicking this link.

By clicking this link to join Audible you help support the podcast and our Hike Like A Woman team. It’s a win/win. So check out Audible and let us know what you’re reading.

If you enjoyed today’s show and want to listen to more be sure to subscribe on stitcher or iTunes so you never miss an episode.
