When I’m heading out the door to go hiking, I struggle to get everything together. I simply don’t have time to be creative about packing the right kind of snacks. Ambassador Crystal struggles too. She was excited to review a sample of Trailfoody. Read below to see what she thought.
I was really excited to be able to review this product. Finding snacks to take on the trail is always difficult for my family.
I am gluten intolerant, my husband is lactose intolerant, and my daughter is allergic to food dyes. Needless to say, buying snacks for the trail is very hard for us. The great thing about Trailfoody is they actually have a gluten free option! Thank goodness!
And, the best part is that most of the gluten free options were also dairy free (not all, but a good amount), so my husband was able to eat them too.
When I received my box in the mail and opened it up the variety of snacks was vast – from trail mix, beef jerky, fruit crisps, energy gummy, multigrain bars and even a hydration multiple to put in your water!
I will have to say that my husband’s favorite part was the bag that comes with the box. He immediately snagged this up and put some of our spare hiking gear in it to leave in the truck. It’s actually a very durable bag and surprisingly hold a lot more than you would think!
Looking at the products price online and at the amount of snacks you get, I believe it’s a great deal. Everything is super healthy, and many of you out there will know if you and to go to the store to buy all of this you’d spend so much more. And you’d probably not get the same variety.
I also like the idea that you can buy bigger boxes for a family size. You may not carry all the snack on one hike, for us it was split over three to four hikes.
And I’ll admit, I ate my beef jerky as soon s I opened the box. I couldn’t wait. Definitely something I would recommend to everyone, and look forward to ordering this in the future.

The variety of snacks
Has gluten free options
The bag can be used for more than snacks (and I recommend using it)
If you eat everything in the box before you go on the trail, then you have no trail snacks.
