Do you have a problem with wearing something on your head while being active in the cold only to make your head sweat and then want to take it off? New England Ambassador Jacquelyn tested Headsweats’ Thermal Reversible Beanie. Read her thoughts below.
When I was approached by one of my fellow ambassadors to test out a Headsweats hat, I was a little hesitant. I’m not a big hat person because my head easily sweats and I do not keep hats on for very long. This past winter in New England was extremely cold, so I agreed as it is always nice to have a good hat for those colder days.
The hat is a thermal reversible beanie, one side is a Eventure fleece and the other side is Eventure knit. It is lightweight and they have a variety of colors and styles. To my surprise my head did not sweat in this hat, I believe thanks to the knit side.
I used it for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hiking and just playing outside. When it was snowing or freezing rain my head stayed dry. It kept my head warm, but not too warm where I needed to take it off half way through my adventure like I usually do. This hat now remains in my backpack for all outdoor use. The price is $22, not too expensive and worth every penny. I highly recommend this hat to anyone who’s head sweats easily when doing outdoor winter activities.
