What’s one book you’d recommend to a friend and why: Oh, this is a hard one. I read so much it’s a difficult choice. I think I’d have to say anything by Pat Conroy. He’s not the greatest novelist out there. But he puts together some of the loveliest sentences I’ve ever read. He also writes so generously about the crazy ones. You know, we all have that crazy friend or family member or maybe we are the crazy one. Everyone needs to be treated with generosity.
What’s your favorite thing to cook for dinner: I don’t much like to cook anymore. My favorite thing to eat for dinner is crab cakes.
What’s your favorite quote: “And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the wind longs to play with your hair.” ~Khalil Gibran
If you could hike with anyone, dead or alive who would it be and why: Mary Oliver. I would love to spend just a few hours in nature with someone who finds the words to say what I feel when I’m there.
What the one piece of gear that always has a place in your backpack: Map and/or trail description.
If you could drop what you’re doing right now and had unlimited funds what’s the one place you’d go hiking: I wanna go to Machu Pichu

Is there anything else you’d like to add: I’m so excited to be a part of this group of Ambassadors. Can’t wait to get started!!
