What’s one book you’d recommend to a friend and why: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It contains so many life lessons. For example, Fear is a bigger obstacle than the obstacle itself. It’s a book that I have read a few times and each time I have found new meaning in it.
What’s your favorite thing to cook for dinner: Pesto pasta with sun dried tomatoes and roasted asparagus. Colorful, delicious, and vegetarian!
What’s your favorite quote:
“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life—and travel—leaves marks on you.” ― Anthony Bourdain
If you could hike with anyone, dead or alive who would be and why: Karl Pilkington from An Idiot Abroad, because he makes me laugh.
What the one piece of gear that always has a place in your backpack: Chapstick 🙂
If you could drop what you’re doing right now and had unlimited funds what’s the one place you’d go hiking: I would like to go to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado next.
